Funded Futures Account

Funded futures account is a simulated or live futures trading account provided to a trader after passing a combine, sized in contracts rather than the notional dollar balances typical of CFD funded accounts.

Most funded futures accounts remain simulated even after passing, with the firm paying out profits from its own capital rather than routing trades to a real exchange; worth checking a firm’s specific structure rather than assuming ‘funded’ means ‘live’ by default.
