Prop Firm Rules 2026

Prop firm rules are scattered, and rarely by accident. A firm’s headline numbers sit on the page you buy from. The rules that decide whether you actually get paid, prohibited strategies, payout reviews, account limits and what happens when you breach, tend to sit in a help centre or a terms document you are unlikely to read before you pay.

This section collects them. One page per firm, split into two parts: the general rules that apply to every account at that firm whichever programme you bought, and the programme rules that change between a firm’s one-step, two-step and instant products. Every entry links to the firm’s own page and carries the date we last checked it.

Scope. Every firm in this section is a CFD and forex firm. Futures firms will be labelled as such when we add them, because the rules that decide whether you get paid are not the same on the two sides of the industry.

How we check

Every firm here is re-checked against its own published pages every Sunday. Two dates appear on each firm page and they mean different things. Last verified moves every week whether or not anything changed. Rules last changed moves only when a rule actually changed, and when it does, the change is logged with the previous wording, the new wording and the source.

Where a firm’s source page cannot be reached in a given week, we keep the last known value and mark it as unverified rather than removing it or guessing. A stale value that is honestly dated is more use to you than a blank.

We take affiliate commission from some of the firms listed here. Where we do, it is disclosed at the top of that firm’s page and in our affiliate disclosure. It does not affect what is recorded: the rules come from the firm’s own pages, and a change gets logged whether or not there is a commercial relationship.

Use the data

The values we publish are available as JSON, one file per firm, with the source URL and the date we last checked it attached to every field. Values and provenance only: the written analysis stays on the page. It is licensed CC BY 4.0, so use it freely with attribution to Prop Firm Briefing. FTMO’s is at /wp-json/pfb/v1/rules/ftmo, and every firm follows the same pattern.

Rules and prices change. Confirm anything material at the firm’s own checkout before you buy.
