NFA (National Futures Association)

NFA (National Futures Association) is the self-regulatory body for the US derivatives industry, working alongside the CFTC to register and oversee firms operating in futures markets.

The NFA’s BASIC database is a useful public tool for checking whether a company or individual connected to a futures platform provider carries any disciplinary history, a due-diligence step worth taking before funding through any firm’s futures offering.
