Rithmic / Tradovate are the two dominant execution and data infrastructure providers underpinning most futures prop firms, roughly equivalent in role to what MT4/MT5 is for CFD firms.

A firm’s choice between the two affects available charting platforms, API access, and historically has been a source of industry disruption when a provider changed its policies toward prop firms; worth checking which one a firm uses if you have a preferred third-party charting setup.
