Relationship Disclosure: Instant Funding is the company that acquired Funded Trading Plus, the firm I co-founded, in May 2026. I exited at that point. I know this business and its leadership from across the negotiating table, a closer view than any outside reviewer gets. Weigh my words accordingly; the scoring system here is the same one every firm on this site faces.

Overview

Instant Funding is a UK prop firm that has grown into an acquirer rather than a target: in May 2026 it bought Funded Trading Plus, the firm I co-founded, in a deal that lifted the combined group’s revenue by 70%. Most reviewers meet a prop firm through its checkout page. I met this one through due diligence and integration planning, because it is the company that bought the business I helped build. You learn more about a firm in one acquisition process than in a hundred challenge attempts, how it is capitalised, how decisions get made, and how it treats obligations when nobody outside the deal is watching. The same scoring rules apply here as everywhere else on this site.

The product range is the widest of the big firms covering CFD challenges: Instant accounts with no evaluation at all, One-Phase and Two-Phase evaluations, IF1 24-hour live-account challenges, IF Micro accounts starting at $625, and crypto variants of several of the above. In mid-2026 the firm launched a Clarity series, a simplified-rules relaunch of its core products, and virtually every current promotion now points buyers there.

Programmes & pricing

With nine-plus product lines, the range itself is the story. Instant accounts skip evaluation entirely. Go is a structured instant variant. One-Phase and Two-Phase are conventional evaluations, IF1 puts a trader on a live account within 24 hours, IF Micro opens the door at $625, and the crypto variants are among the more credible crypto-prop offerings from an established firm. My advice for anyone shopping the range is blunt: pick your route first, read that programme’s terms only, and ignore the rest of the catalogue, the rules genuinely differ across it.

The rules that actually matter

Smart Drawdown is a hybrid worth understanding before you fund. The maximum loss limit starts at 10% of the starting balance and automatically tightens to 5% once the account has banked a 5% gain, a $10,000 account that can’t drop below $9,000 initially sees that floor rise to $9,500 after $500 of profit. It’s more forgiving early and stricter once there’s something to protect, the opposite of a firm trying to bank challenge fees off predictable failure.

Risk per trade is capped, and the cap is not the same on every account. It is 3% of the starting balance on the flagship Instant Funding account, 2% on Instant Funding GO, and 1% on the IF Micro range and IF1. On the One-Phase and Two-Phase products it is expressed differently again, as 50% of the account’s starting daily drawdown. Maximum lot sizes vary by asset class and account size on top of that. It is a real constraint for traders used to concentrating risk on a single high-conviction setup, and the number you are working to depends on which account you bought. The full figure for every programme is on our Instant Funding rules page.

Minimum trading days apply on the evaluation products, not across the range. One-Phase and Two-Phase require 3, One-Phase Crypto requires 7, and IF Micro Clarity requires 5 profitable days each generating at least 0.5%. The remaining programmes either publish none or do not state one. Separately, accounts close automatically if no trade is placed within 60 days of purchase, or within 60 days of the last trade, generous compared with firms that force activity weekly, but worth knowing if you buy an account and then travel.

Clarity is the firm marking its own homework, and honestly. When a firm relaunches its core products with simplified rules, it’s telling you the old rulebook had become a support burden. If you’re new to Instant Funding, buy a Clarity variant and nothing else, that’s where the firm’s attention, promotions and product development clearly sit right now.

Payouts & on-demand withdrawals

First withdrawal is available 14 days after your first trade, with a 7-day cycle after that on the standard schedule. The more distinctive feature is On-Demand Payouts, which let a trader withdraw outside the schedule entirely once two conditions are met: no single trading day may account for more than a set share of total profit (40% on One-Phase/Two-Phase, tightening to 15–20% on the Micro and IF1 lines), and total net profit must clear a minimum threshold (1.5% of starting balance or $25 on most programmes, higher on Micro accounts). Clear both and the full available balance can be withdrawn at any time, a genuinely trader-favourable feature once you understand the guardrails around it. The firm’s own loyalty programme, Instant Funding Plus, layers reward-based discounts and perks on top for repeat traders.

Discount codes: never pay list price

Instant Funding is the heaviest discounter of the three firms covered so far on this site. Site-wide promotions across the Clarity and micro range regularly run in the 30–60% band, deeper than either FTMO (which runs none) or FT+ (which runs 20–30% size-based codes). Exact codes rotate weekly and several are new-customer-only, so treat any specific code you see quoted elsewhere as unverified until checkout, check the Firm Offers page for this week’s confirmed rate before you buy.

The verdict

Instant Funding is the firm moving fastest in this market, and I’ve seen its workings from closer range than any reviewer should probably admit to. The capital position behind the FT+ acquisition is real, the growth is real, and the value after discounts is unmatched among firms of this standing. The cost is complexity: a product catalogue wide enough that it genuinely requires homework, only partly solved by the Clarity relaunch. Buy Clarity, buy on a code, read your programme’s rules and nobody else’s, and this is close to the best value available in credible prop trading right now.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Instant Funding legit?

Yes. Instant Funding is an established UK firm with a consistent payout record, and in May 2026 it acquired Funded Trading Plus, making it one of the larger groups in this space. For where Instant Funding and the wider industry actually stand on regulation, see Is Prop Firm Trading Regulated? The Real Record.

Does Instant Funding have a discount code?

Almost always, and often deeply. Site-wide Clarity and micro-account promotions in the 30–60% range are common. Check our Firm Offers page for this week’s verified rate rather than a code quoted elsewhere.

What is the Instant Funding Clarity series?

A mid-2026 relaunch of the core products (Instant, One-Phase and Micro) with simplified rules. It’s where the firm’s promotions and development now focus, and the range we’d recommend a new customer buy.

What is Smart Drawdown?

A hybrid drawdown model: the maximum loss limit starts at 10% of the starting balance and automatically tightens to 5% once the account reaches a 5% gain, more forgiving early, stricter once there’s profit to protect.

How do On-Demand Payouts work?

Once an account clears a best-day profit-share limit (40% on One/Two-Phase, 15–20% on Micro and IF1) and a minimum profit threshold, a trader can withdraw the full available balance at any time, rather than waiting for the standard 7-day cycle.

Who owns Instant Funding?

Instant Funding is independently owned and acquired Funded Trading Plus in May 2026, a deal that increased the combined group’s revenue by 70%.

Right of reply

This review is built from the firm’s own published documents, each one linked and dated. Firms are welcome to respond.

If you work for the firm: write to corrections@propfirmbriefing.com. We aim to acknowledge within two working days.

  • If we have a fact wrong, we correct it, date the correction and say what changed.
  • If a correction affects something the Briefing Score rests on, we re-run the score and publish the new one, including when it moves in the firm’s favour.
  • Where we have documented a contradiction between the firm’s own documents, we will not withdraw it. We will publish the firm’s explanation alongside it.
  • If the disagreement is about judgement rather than fact, we publish the firm’s statement in full and leave ours standing. Readers can weigh both.

We will not remove accurate, sourced reporting because a firm objects to it. We do not accept payment to change or remove anything, and a commercial relationship makes no difference either way.
